Terms of Use

By accessing or using WhichPup, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Community Guidelines.
Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. WhichPup may suspend accounts used for fraud, abuse, impersonation or interference with the service.
Dog profiles and content rights
You represent that you own or have permission to submit the dog, photos and other content you upload. You retain ownership of your content. You grant WhichPup a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, resize, display and distribute submitted content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote and improve WhichPup, including profile pages and share graphics.
Voting and rankings
WhichPup rankings are an entertainment feature generated from valid head-to-head choices and a rating algorithm. Rankings may change at any time. WhichPup may invalidate votes, rebuild ratings, change anti-abuse methods, adjust qualification thresholds or correct data when needed to preserve competition integrity. Paid features do not purchase votes or ranking position.
Founding Dog status
Founding Dog numbers are intended as permanent recognition for the first approved field. WhichPup may correct an assignment made in error or remove Founding status from a fraudulent or ineligible submission.
Paid features
If offered, the price and included features of a Pro Profile are shown before purchase. Unless otherwise stated, Pro Profile upgrades are one-time purchases for the identified dog profile. Paid profile features do not affect voting outcomes or matchmaking priority. Taxes, refunds and payment terms may be handled through the payment processor where applicable.
No guaranteed prize
A WhichPup rank, title or placement does not by itself entitle a user to money, property or any other prize. Any future sweepstakes, contest or prize promotion will have separate official rules when required.
Acceptable use
You may not automate voting, probe or disrupt the service, bypass security controls, scrape personal information, upload malicious code, infringe intellectual property rights or use WhichPup for unlawful activity.
Moderation
WhichPup may review, reject, hide or remove content and may suspend access when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect users or maintain the integrity of the game.
Service availability
WhichPup is provided on an as-available basis. Features, rankings, algorithms and availability may change. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or a particular ranking result.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WhichPup and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Any direct liability will be limited to the amount you paid to WhichPup during the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing, except where a different limitation is required by law.
